Robust Construction and Insulation

When choosing a heated livestock waterer, the quality of its construction and insulation is crucial.

Canarm’s heated waterer stands out for its exceptional engineering, blending strong double-wall construction with high-grade polyurethane foam insulation. Our heated livestock waterer isn’t just durable; it also maintains optimal temperature control. The insulation achieves an R15 value or R18 in select models, ensuring water stays fresh and unfrozen, even in the coldest weather.

Manufactured with durability in mind, Canarm’s heated waterer is built to withstand the constant hustle of farm life. We focus on both structural resilience and thermal management so that you’re investing in a solution that’s efficient, reliable, and tailored to meet the demands of your operations.

Enhanced Energy Efficiency

Selecting an energy-efficient heated water trough for cattle is key, and Canarm’s models stand out for their proven performance. Subject to rigorous testing, such as the PAMI assessments, our waterers are confirmed to be highly energy-efficient. The water heater for cattle troughs strikes the right balance between preventing water from freezing and minimizing electricity usage, courtesy of adjustable thermostats.

Particularly noteworthy are Canarm’s HL50 and H100 models, known for their energy efficiency. They use up to three times less energy than similar products, leading to significant savings. This reflects Canarm’s dedication not just to lowering costs but also to supporting sustainable farming. Our designs are aimed at reducing energy use and minimizing environmental impact.

Maintenance Made Simple

Canarm has put a lot of thought into what makes a waterer easy to use and maintain. Our heated water trough for cattle comes with a smart design feature: hinged bowls. This means you can quickly lift the bowl for easy cleaning or get to the inner parts without any hassle. Plus, we’ve chosen stainless steel for the bowls because it’s tough, doesn’t rust, and won’t chip paint into your livestock’s water.

Canarm’s focus on user-friendly design and durable materials means keeping the waterer clean and safe for your animals is straightforward, reducing the time and effort you spend on maintenance. Our approach is all about making life easier for farmers. Our designs ensure you can keep the water quality high for your livestock without the extra work, making their waterers a practical choice for any farm.

Customizable Heating Options

Canarm’s heated water trough products offer a variety of heating options, ensuring you find just the right fit for your specific situation. Whether you need a heated waterer for a small herd or oversee a large one, there’s a model tailored to your needs. With options ranging from 300 watts to a robust 500 watts, Canarm empowers you to choose the most energy-efficient solution, avoiding both waste for smaller setups and the risk of insufficient heating for more extensive operations.

As your herd size evolves or as weather patterns shift, you can adjust the heating power of your heated water trough. This makes a Canarm heated livestock waterer a smart, long-term investment for your farm. With customization, you don’t just meet your current requirements; you can prepare for future changes. Our goal is to offer forward-thinking products, delivering solutions that grow with your operations.

Reliable and User-Friendly Operation

When selecting a heated livestock waterer, prioritize models equipped with non-siphoning features and robust valves, guaranteeing steady and reliable performance throughout the year. Canarm’s water heater for cattle troughs is designed with non-siphoning elements that avoid water backflow. Its nylon control valves control the flow of water so that they open when levels are low and close when the trough is full. The adjustable thermostats and external pilot lights simplify the task of monitoring and tweaking settings to achieve optimal efficiency. These thoughtful details minimize the need for frequent manual adjustments.

Proven Canadian Quality & Durability

In order to comply with changing standards for Agricultural Buildings by the Canadian Electrical Code Canarm has put our HLW series waterers through some rigorous lab testing. The Certified independent lab completed the three tests required to allow us to use the 4X Corrosion Proof designation. This involved an ice build-up test to prove structural integrity, then a 200-hour and a concurrent 600-hour salt spray test to prove corrosion resistance. As expected, after 40+ years of real-life testing, this Canadian-built line passed the lab tests with flying colours!

Opting for Canarm’s heated waterers brings the assurance of consistent dependability. Their carefully engineered features—like the non-siphoning design and durable control mechanisms—are designed to ensure your waterer operates smoothly across all seasons. By choosing Canarm, you’re investing in a solution that supports your daily farm operations and simplifies your livestock’s hydration needs, even as the mercury dips.

Our strong, double-wall design, combined with 2” of injected polyurethane foam insulation, gives an R15 insulation value, one of the highest in the industry. The new Poly option for the 50-head waterer has an R18 insulation value!

Based on PAMI testing, our HL50 and H100 were rated #1 in energy savings. The energy cost for the winter season on our HL50 model proved to be almost three times more efficient than the competitive models tested at the same time. Our H50, HL50 and H100 are now designed with more than twice the amount of insulation than the models tested by PAMI.

The hinged bowl is designed to lift up for easy cleaning, as well as quick access to all internal components. Stainless steel bowl construction ensures a long life and eliminates the risk of chipping paint and rust contamination. Canarm heated livestock waterers come with either a 300-watt or 500-watt thermostatically controlled heating element. An external pilot light (there is no pilot light on the P50), which is visible from a distance, glows when the heater is operating. The thermostat is

adjustable and can be accessed through the control cover. The nylon control valve is designed for trouble-free, year-round operation.
