CFR Series CAV Flow Regulator

SKU#:

CFR SERIES

Constant air volume (CAV) regulator CFR automatically adjusts itself to maintain a predefined airflow rate. When the pressure increases or decreases the regulating mechanism reacts by opening or closing the throttle, thus maintaining a constant airflow.

The CFR series is designed for low pressure (0.2 to 0.8” SP), can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical duct lines, and be used at either the supply or exhaust side. The regulating mechanism includes a stainless steel spring and is made from class M1 (according to NFP 92-501) PVC plastic for use at temperatures up to 140˚F (60˚C). It is equipped with an EPDM gasket providing a tight connection between the regulator and a ventilation pipe wall. The regulator should be mounted in the distance equal at least 3 times its diameter from a supply valve and at least 1 diameter away from exhaust valve.
