Canarm Ltd. is a world marketer and manufacturer of livestock housing, ventilation, lighting and related environmental products and systems, supplying distributors for residential, commercial, and agricultural markets. Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, the primary objective of this position is to assess our line of agricultural equipment in order to make accurate recommendations for installation, repairs and service, as well as provide feedback and ideas on continuous improvement.
Education: Post Secondary Electronics/Automation/Mechanical Technician program (or equivalent experience)
Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, the primary objective of this position is to assess our line of agricultural equipment in order to make accurate recommendations to design and manufacture at standards which exceed customer expectations, as well as provide feedback and ideas on continuous improvement.
Education: Three/Four year Technologist/Engineering degree with concentration in mechanical engineering
SHIPPER / RECEIVER
Reporting, directly to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, the successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal skills as well as a positive attitude toward customer service. They will have the ability to multi task and prioritize in a fast paced work environment and possess working experience in the following areas:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast paced work environment. They will possess working experience in conventional metal fabrication methods such as, set-up and operation of presses, brakes, shears, laser cutters, saws, drill presses, hand tools, assembly, blue print reading, mig welding, fitting, etc, and other duties as assigned.
